Why hot tub removal isn't a DIY job

Heavier and trickier than it looks

Most people don't realize what's actually involved until they start looking into it. Here's what we handle on every job.

500-800 lbs

After it's fully drained

Most hot tubs weigh 500 to 800 pounds empty. They can't be moved in one piece, which means every removal starts with a full dismantle.

Cut down

Then carried out in sections

The shell gets broken apart and hauled through your yard, gate, or side passage. Getting the approach wrong is how fences and decks get damaged.

The aftermath

It doesn't end with the tub

Once the shell is out, you're left with scattered foam insulation, old hardware, water, and whatever was rotting underneath for years. We sweep it all up and haul it out before we leave.

Good to know

Tight gate? Deck-mounted? On a slope? Send us photos. Difficult access affects the price but almost never stops the job. We've handled all of it.

Upfront Pricing

Straightforward pricing by size

You get a firm price before we touch anything, and that's exactly what you pay. No surprises once we're on-site.

The process

How our hot tub removal works

From the first text to the final walkthrough, here is exactly what to expect when you book with us.

1

We confirm the details and show up on time

Once you book, we confirm your arrival window and text you when we are on the way. When we get there, we do a quick walkthrough with you to confirm the plan, check the access path, and make sure we are all on the same page before we start. No surprises.

2

We drain the tub and break it down completely

We bring our own pump, so you do not need to do anything ahead of time. Once it is drained, we dismantle the entire unit: the shell, the frame, the jets, the cover, every bracket and bolt. The whole thing comes apart and nothing gets left behind.

3

We carry everything off your property

Every piece gets loaded onto our trailer as we go. We work carefully through your yard, gate, or side passage, protecting your lawn, fence, and anything else in the path. When the last load is on the truck, there is nothing left for you to deal with.

4

We rake and sweep the area clean

Once the tub is out, we clear the slab and the surrounding area. Any debris, foam, or hardware that came out during the dismantle gets swept up and hauled away. The space is clean before we pack up.

5

Final walkthrough with you

Before we leave, we walk the space with you so you can see it for yourself. We want you to be genuinely happy with how it looks. We will not call the job done until you are.

Our promise to you

No surprise pricing

The price you approved is the price you pay. No additions or extras once we're on-site.

Property protection

Every job is fully insured. Your fence, deck, and lawn are treated the way we'd want our own treated.

On-time guarantee

If we miss our arrival window, you get 10% off your total, automatically. We text you when we're on the way so you're never left guessing.

Satisfaction guarantee

If the space doesn't look the way we described before we leave, we fix it right then. No callbacks, no follow-up needed.

Common questions

Questions we hear all the time

Hot tub removal is a bigger job than most. Here's what people usually want to know before they book.

No. We bring the pump. Just give us access to the backyard and we'll handle everything from there.
Standard 110V plug-in units we handle completely. For 240V hardwired units, which is most hot tubs, a licensed electrician needs to disconnect the breaker before we arrive. It's a quick job. We're happy to refer someone if you need it, and we'll walk you through what's needed when you book.
Yes. Deck removal, wood surround, concrete pad. We can quote it all together. Just mention it when you send your photos.
Most hot tubs are drained, dismantled, and gone in 1-2 hours. Larger units or tight access situations may run a bit longer. We'll give you a realistic estimate when you request your quote.
Send us photos of the hot tub and the access path, including your gate if there is one. Tight yards, decks, hillsides, narrow side passages. we've handled all of it. Difficult access usually affects the price but almost never stops the job.
Don't worry about measuring. Send a photo of the whole unit and one of the access path. We'll confirm the size and price when we look at your photos, usually the same day.

Ready to get your backyard back?
